////// STRENGTH FROM TRADITION

The more than 180 year history of the Wuppertal group of companies Vorwerk & Sohn can be traced back to the weaving mill entry in the Companies Registry from 1827. Parallel to the textile manufacturing, rubber production was introduced at the end of the 19th century and the foundation was laid for our present success. With this wealth of experience and a strong drive for innovation, we have continually developed and optimized our products, our technical expertise growing along with that of our organisation. The pure rubber production is indeed still one of our core competencies, but is no longer the centre of our activities.

Vorwerk Autotec was founded in 2002 being a spin-off from the Vorwerk & Sohn Group. Our aim was to introduce ourselves as an innovative development and manufacturing specialist for customised elastomer and metal parts for the automotive industry.
