Silicones, also chemically named as poly(organo)siloxane, are characterized by their excellent thermal and elastic properties. Their thermal resistance covers a temperature range from -60 to +200°C. Some of our special versions can even resist considerably more extreme temperatures. Silicone-based components have been state of the art for some years when automotive applications subject to high thermal loading are concerned. Another feature of our silicones – apart from their high thermal resistance – is that they are available in a self-adhesive version ensuring firm bonding when multi-component assemblies are constructed.
Both peroxide and platinum-cured silicones are developed and produced within our business group.
Let our expert team advise you – together we will find a solution for your thermally highly-loaded components!
